Water leak above dump handle?

Hello guys,

My 2015 27 fb eddie bauer seems to have a slow drip coming from above the gray water dump handle. It is also starting to drip from the led light gasket between the dump handles.

There is copper plumbing that extends up and into the body just above the gray water dump valve and it's coming from there. I looked under the closet to see the upper portion of the pipe and it's dry.

I'm located outside of vegas and I'm fulltiming. It has dropped below freezing a few times. I use the furnace on cold nights to keep the pipes warm. I'm plugged into city water all the time and use a heated water hose.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Black tank flush line leaking? Does the leak appear to be coming through a seam in the belly pan?

Coming from the seam where the pipe meets the belly. I did flush the black tank a couple weeks ago...

I have read of black tank flush lines leaking onto the belly pan, could be caused by freezing but more likely came with a bad connection from the factory. Regardless of the cause of your leak, I would call for a warranty repair.

The nearest dealer is four hours away and this is my fulltime residence. It will be annoying, but you're right. If it's a quick fix I can do myself, it'd be better for me is all.

The anti-siphon valve seems to be a weak point in this part of the Airstream. Check out this thread and see if it pertains to you. If it is the anti-siphon valve, the repair is easily accomplished provided you are moderately handy. All you need to know is in this thread:

Good luck!

Thanks for your help annarborbob, I took the closet panel out and looked at the valve.. it seems dry. It's been weeks a week or two since I've used it anyway. Everything seems dry down below.

I think there is a leak in between the panels somewhere or under the actual floor.

That was the easy fix, I'm afraid it's time for the dealer visit. Please report back when you've got the solution so we can all learn. Thanks, Bob
