Not sure about a stud finder on metal but I sure missed noting the cross member. I do wonder if the cross members are as thick as the main frame rails.

Or, not bolted to anything but the wooden floor ... as seen from the rear steps ...not only didn't they install through the frame - but not even the outriggers! Still waiting for factory support on this issue ...after 2 1/2 months.
