Started Day w/ 25FC, ended with 27EB

So this morning I left Homestead Florida at 3:30 am with my 2011 FC 25 FB twin in tow to trade in and pick up my just arrived 2015 Eddie Bauer 27 FB special order twin configuration, with dual AC, 50A and full awning package. I can't say enough good things about the guys at JD Sanders, but I will summarize in a separate post. Right now I'm camped at Travelers Campground not far from Sanders, heading back to Homestead in the morning.
Joe

That's a beautiful Airstream. We would love to see some more pictures.

Does the dealer already have your 25fb sold?

Looks great, congrats on the EB. Post some pics of the twin beds when you get a chance.

How does it feel going to a 27? I've been wanting a 25 but found a great deal on a 27. Trying to decide if 2' more is too much. Pulling with a 1/2 ton 2014 Chevrolet.

Congrats, on your new EB!!!
We love ours. We pull it with a 1500 Surburban for now. Planning on getting a 2500 disel GMC just prior to retiring. It is very nicely set up for a couple. But we throw a couple of kids or grandkids in at times.

Here's the one image I have right now of one of the EB twin beds. It came with pillow top mattresses, which I was not expecting. 😊Joe

When did they start offering it with twins?

Twins were a special order on the EB, with a $2500 up charge. We bit the bullet because twins suit our use best, and we really wanted the EB hatch. Joe

I always like to see a nicely balanced rig...as in #5. Nicely done, it looks great. Safe travels. jon

I am not sure. There was a couple touring it right after they swapped out my hitch, but it was still on the lot the next day. Best, Joe
