Our maiden voyage - 20th Anniversary

WOW! We just bought a 25' EB airstream for our 20th anniversary. This is our first airstream - upgraded from a 2000 tent trailer. Our first trip was spent on the Nebo Loop of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Close to home but good test for towing and learning all about our "mobile crib" (as stated by my husbands barber).
For anyone thinking of taking the leap - DO IT! No time to waste! Get out with the family and live every day to its fullest.

Happy anniversary and congrats!!

I agree. We got ours around our 30th anniversary and 5 minutes later I regretted not doing this the day we got married :-)

Beautiful trailer and location. How about some pics with the back end open - and those have a screen so you can keep it open, don't they?

Happy camping!!

You are going to LOVE the EB! We do love ours!

We will be headed out west next year; this year is for eastern Canada and the southeastern U.S.

BassCan, an uneventful trip, I hope? NJ/East Coast traffic didn't eat you up?

Congrats! We bought our AS for our silver (25th) anniversary - very fitting, we thought! Enjoy yours as much as we have enjoyed ours.

It was a white knuckle journey till we reached I-78 then down to I-81.
Heavy traffic but the EB was right behind us all the way. The ProPride was awesome. Passed by many many 18 wheelers ( lost count) no sway. Our suburban did great on flat stretches at 55 to 65 mph. Uphill 45 mph was good.

Sounds familiar, BassCan! Glad you got it home in one piece!

Happy Travels!

After soooooo many years bought ours for my 65th birthday, so many plans and Rally's and an eye on several caravans, we are off and running. We are even Co-sponsors of a rally next month. This year getting our "sea legs", next year hitting the road for long haul travels. Read travel blogs, they will help with "take alongs", and minimize the learning curves. Also, Switz, on this forum is an amazing resource guy. Solar is our next challenge. See you down the road--oh yeah, join the WBCCI club.

Yes to the rear screen; it rolls up when underway with the hatch down or the inside handle will distort the screen. Congrats skiut1969 ! Enjoy.

You will get more hints and help from this forum than all of the books written and clubs out there!
