Frosted skylight

I've had the shades pulled on both skylights pretty much all summer, just recently I had an opportunity to open them up.

The one in the dining area is clear like glass and you can clearly see out of it.

The one next to the shower appears to be frosted over. At first I thought it might be moisture trapped, but it's almost "too" perfect to be accidental.

Now I'm questioning if I ever remember seeing it clear.

Anyone else have an issue with one of the skylights frosting up like a privacy glass?

Haha, I noticed this recently as well. Our bathroom hall skylight in our '15 28' is also frosted....or whatever that is

I suspect this is moisture that has somehow breached the weatherproofing.

Do you have a second skylight that is clear or are you just guessing? Two trailers that are exactly the same sounds like a design feature rather than a coincidence. Similar to the OP, our skylight is perfectly "frosted" rather than randomly exposed to the elements. I've actually suspected that there was a factory protective film that wasn't properly removed before we took possession.

We have two in our 2015 27'. Clear over the rear living area, frosted over the bathroom shower area. Joe

Our bathroom skylight is frosted, too. I'm pretty sure that's for privacy reasons.

We have a 2014 Eddie Bauer and our dining room skylight is clear and the one by the bathroom is frosted. It's not trapped moisture it's on purpose. This was probably done to provide the appearance of privacy in the bathroom area although I can't imagine anyone tall enough to see in the trailer, even if we were parked next to a big Class A!
