We have a ProPride 3 hitch on our EB27. Arriving at a campground after dark and opening the front hatch with the weight distribution bars still under tension, we did not notice that the hatch could lay flat.
Most of the time it rest against the weight distribution bars at an angle.
We proceed to set up the camper and release the tension to the bars.
After unhooking the TV and
Getting ready to call it a night we realized that the front hatch was now in a bind laying flat between the weight distribution bar.
We could not raise it up to close it.
In fact it now had a 1/2 inch crease on the top edge against the bar.
The only way to release the hatch was to place the weight distribution bars back under tension. Then the hatch lifted easily.
