Adding Awning Package to 2015 EB25

We're about to pick up our 2015 EB25, which, sadly, does not have the S.S. and Rear awning option. Has anyone gone through the process of adding them after the fact? Better yet, does anyone have any leads on a set that isn't being used? I found a S.S. awning on eBay for around $400 new, but it's for a EB27, which, of course, won't fit.

If you have a very qualified dealer who can give references on metal work, they can install the ZipDee street and rear awnings. Make sure they order the correct fabric to match what you have curb side.

We had the dealer do this on our 2013 25FB International Serenity. We were able to order the ZipDee lawn chairs with the fabric that matched the awnings. Since our 2015 23DInternationalSerenity has the same awing material that the 25FB had, the ZipDee chairs match as well.

The 23D and Classic both were built with complete awning sets.

We had rear and SS awnings added to our 2013 25FG FC by an independent third party who had done quite a few before.

I suggest before having the SS installed, visit and sit in a trailer (any AS model) with a SS awning, and see if you like how much view it blocks. Carefully measure the distance from the belt line trim to the bottom mounting of the awning on the trailer, and the length of the awning fabric. Have your installer match that, or not, depending on how you like what you see. I say that because on our trailer, the installer mounted the feet lower than the normal factory position, and the awning restricts our view more than we like. This change also resulted in the hold-open hook being several inches lower than normal, which put it at a place where it flexed the area around it a lot.

Also, when you take delivery, make sure the travel latch engages properly, and all the mounting feet are properly sealed against leaks.
