2015 EB 25' Arrived this week!

We specifically wanted a 2015 as we prefer the Eddie Bauer canvas upholstery to the black leather in the late 2015/2016 models.

We ordered the trailer from Camper Clinic 2 in Texas and it came with a lifetime warranty.

It is a dual air, ducted. We had been in a 2010 Conqueror Commander from South Africa- no air, no heat, outdoor pop-up privy with a wag bag toilet, and an outdoor only kitchen. This things seems like the Ritz to us, but we feel completely comfortable in it. We love the flooring, counter, fabric choices. We absolutely cannot believe the build quality and amenities.

So, I sold the Offroad trailer and my Land Rover. Purchased an F250 and the EB.

Here is trailer we were in:

And while it was an awesome trailer (only one in the US), it was "roughing" it. yes, it did take us places that we can't go in the Airstream, but we are finding that in the Eastern US, places to get off the beaten path are being more and more difficult.

Well, it seem as we grow older (I'm 52) and with two children (7 and 11), my wife and I just didn't want to rough it anymore.

I grew up traveling the summer with my grandparents in their 28 foot airstream. They were active in the WB club and I went to rally's with them. We went from Nova Scotia one summer- to Montana another year. They were some of my fondest memories from my childhood.

I've always wanted an Airstream since and cannot believe there is one sitting in my drive now. I feel mighty blessed and fortunate.

Here was the trailer being delivered:

And me and the kids:

We look forward to many years of adventure!
Thanks for listening.

Congrats and welcome to the Airstream Eddie Bauer family! We've had ours since last August, traded in our Coleman popup. We've definitely had an uptick in frequency of our camping since we got ours.

Welcome aboard D! We made a similar choice when we ordered our 27 EB dual AC in March. We could have ordered a '15 or '16 model, with delivery within a month or two of each other, but opted for the '15 in order to get the Sunbrella interior. The ultra leather is wonderful, don't get me wrong, and we enjoyed it in the FC that we traded in. But for this unit, for us, we wanted the canvas.
Best regards,
Joe
