Overview

Originally an AZ rig, found its way to San Diego, then up to Olympia, WA. Probably 3 PO's, its uncertain. Purchased April 2009, dry docked it until first "shake-down" road trip in October to Abiquiu Lake, northern NM. Since then, we've joined 4CU rallies in Quartzsite, Picacho Peak, and Dead Horse. Most recent rally in March at White Sands Nat'l Monument with the NM Unit (#069). We've put over 30 nights on the road since October 2009. Recently accepted an assignment in the UAE and will be overseas for an extended period from May 2010 until...? Gotta keep the "Stream'n Dream" going strong!

1. Installed a Sanyo 200watt (60vDC) dual-facial solar panel mounted aft of AC unit and forward of bath vent
2. Replaced original AC unit with a Carrier low profile 15.5BTU AC unit with heat strip
3. Installed Stainless Steel Stone guard/protector panels
4. Removed Clear Coat and polished exterior
5. Applied Sealoflex/Ceramiflex roof coating for heat reflection and sealant
6. Replaced original halogen exterior position and running lights with LED types
7. Replaced original yagi UHF/VHF antenna with an automatic Winegard Satellite dish
8. Replaced original forward vent/light unit with Fantastic Vent
9. Replaced original blue plastic trim with new trim
10. Replaced original 3200# axles and horizontal shocks with 3600# axles and new shocks
11. Replaced original brake drums and brakes with new drums, wheel bearings, and electric brake system
12. Installed wheel balancing disks at each wheel
13. Installed tire pressure monitors on each wheel
14. Replaced original tongue jack with heavy-duty lighted jack
15. Installed exterior mounted XM radio antenna (thru center vent)
16.Replaced original AM/FM antenna with high-gain whip mounted near refrigerator vent.
17. New ZipDee awning fabric all around
18. New ZipDee hardware on rear and street side awnings

1. New aviation-grade (fire-retardant) goucho upholstery
2. Rebuilt main cabin tables with solid Ash
3. Installed Dolby 5.1 surround sound with 12vDC Kenwood (CD/DVD, iPod, USB, XM-radio, AM/FM) TV unit (primary DVD player)
4. Installed 500watt Kenwood sub-woofer under map table - 12vDC powered
5. Replaced original 12vDC batteries with four 6vDC deep cycle AGM battery array behind goucho
6. Installed MorningStar Charge Controller with remote readout for Solar Panel output on main cabin bulkhead near refridgerator
7. Installed a 2500watt Go-power inverter behind Goucho
8. Installed an automatic transfer switch near the AC circuit breaker panel in bathroom (switches between shore power and inverter automatically)
9. Replaced original Univolt converter with an Intelicharger 9300 Converter/charger with remote switch
10. Replaced original Magic Chef cook-top/oven combo unit with an Amana 3-burner LPG cook-top
11. Installed 1400-watt Microwave/convection oven combo unit
12. Installed XM-radio that feeds into Kenwood unit
13. Installed a 12vDC powered 22" LCD HiDef flat screen w/built-in DVD player (standby DVD player)
14. Stainless steel kitchen sink faucet with spray hose
15. Removed PO carpet and installed easy-to-clean Bamboo laminate floors fore/aft
16. Custom "block-out" curtains all around - hand made by Maggie!
17. Installed two Catalytic Heaters - main cabin and bathroom
18. Replace PO water heater with a Dual Source (LPG/110vAC) 6-gal Atwood unit with remote control switch mounted in bathroom. Installed by-pass loop for winterizing system.

1999 Suburban - Engine: modified with a "stroker kit" punching-out displacement from 350 to 383cu.in. Modified chip to enhance towing performance. Installed stainless steel headers for better air flow. Installed Flow-Max intake and Power-Aid throttle body for higher performance. Dual 12vdc batteries. Extra large oil and transmission coolers. Rebuilt transmission with Corvette tranny components to enhance towing performance. Dynometer measures 340hp at rear wheels at 5,000-feet MSL. Gabriel gas shocks and 3/4ton rear end leaf springs. Very little squat with 600# tongue weight.

ICOM 7000 HF/UHF/VHF HAM Radio through a High Sierra 1800Pro multi-band HF antenna
