Overview We purchased this airstream from a bay area RV dealer in Aug of 2008. Originally purchased in 2001 by WBCCI members. In 2002 it was traded back in to the RV dealer and they kept it in inventory for the next six years while the owner used it for his personal trips. Stored inside it then became somewhat of the employee lunch room.

One of the reasons I decided on this unit was the exterior. This unit spent most of its life inside so the panels are in very good condition. No real modification have been performed.

A bit of a challenge to get her in the back yard.
I back it in with the truck until im stuck up against the fence. Then I use the jeep to maneuver the airstream into the shelter. Notice the 1700lb caster wheel mounted to the hitch to support the extreme tongue weight of the S/O model.

Hi Vinnie,
I am still working on getting a hitch on my 2007 ML350. I've sent two emails to MB with no reply. I see that the 2012 ML350 is also rated to tow 7,200 lbs. What type of hitch is available if not factory installed? I was on my way to buy a 19' Bambi but they sold it before I got there. Janet, driving her Touareg with a Class IV hitch installed after she bought the car, was to tow it home. Come on Mercedes. Any new suggestions?
Thanks, Gail
