Overview I found this Airstream in 2000. It had been sitting in a dirt field in South Texas for 9 or 10 years. I found information in the trailer about 2 previous owners and the background on the trailer from when it was new until around 1989. There were stickers from attending the WBCCI International rally and various local unit rallies each year from 1976 until 1989, then it went Dark and appeared to be abandoned. I suspect that the trailer was still in very good condition at that time since the trailer was in tact with all original equipment, furniture, drapes etc. Although it was extremely dirty and not much worked when I found it. I paid the ransom on this old Airstream and hauled it back to Missouri City, TX and began the refurbishing task.
Exterior

I have installed new axles, disc brakes, A/C water heater, satellite dish, Hensley Arrow hitch, awnings and trim. I have stripped the clear coat and will polish it someday
Interior
To date the interior has been completely re-done with new floor, cabinets, counter tops, furniture, drapes, refrigerator, stove and much more.
