My partner has had this trailer for several years and used it to travel to dog shows. It has been unused for about 10 years, but she says the appliances worked at that time. It has served as a storage unit since then, and we still need to find somewhere to put all that stuff so we can get in there and work. But winter has started here in Alaska already, so it will be some time before we can do anything significant with it anyway.
She says the outdoor outlet is dangerous and she had to be careful what she touched when power was connected. We plan to gut it, rewire everything, replace insulation. We know there has been at least one squirrel in there because we found some mushrooms he was storing for winter last year.
The parts of the frame I can see look pretty solid. Obviously, there could be bad parts when we finally get access to it in the spring.
We want to add a gray water tank since it has none right now. The sinks and tub just drain directly to the ground. That seems odd. Surely, it wasn't like that from the factory??
I have been reading some of the restoration threads here and plenty more left to read and learn before we start drilling out rivets.
