Our 1974 Argosy

My partner and I acquired a 1974 Argosy yesterday. We are so excited to start glam-ing her up. Stay tuned for more photos, updates and questions.

It looks like a great start, but I don't see an AC unit on the roof. Is there one in the planning?

I hope you are enjoying your Argosy. My partner and I bought our 72 Argosy 2 years ago. We are hoping she, UN Kanny (the name we are thinking if calling our RV) will be ready next year. It has been mostly a fun adventure for us. And I have learned ALOT !!! If you have any questions about repairs, please don't hesitate asking. I maybe able to help.

So far we are loving it. We haven't had a chance to take her out yet. We have enjoyed tinkering away and have been pleasantly surprised with how simple and easy many of the repairs have been. For a forty year old trailer that was left out behind a barn for 10-15 years she's in really good shape.

Good Luck

Good Luck with your new trailer. I got mine ( a 1977 24' Argosy) in September. Have traveled from Ontario Canada to Las Vegas "so far" - heading to California in a couple of days. No real issues with the trailer so far on the trip - small issues but nothing major. Found my trailer at Thunder Bay Ontario - about 800 miles from home - added 4 new tires and new bearings all round. Working great so far.

Thumbs up Welcome Aboard....

Nice looking Argie...Have fun!!

Consider changing your battery cables, the OEM's leave a bit on the table.

Try these for the ends...much better connection without needing solder.

Negative.

Positive
