So we had dinner and cocktails it it every night this weekend. Just love the extra space!

We haven't got to sleep in it yet as the previous owner removed the mattress and put in a futon that neither of us care to touch! We order a Sleep Number bed, Short Queen with radius corners, from Camping World. As luck has it we caught the last day of their "Cyber Week Sale" so it was over 35% off! Now we need to find a place for linens and a Duvet / bed cover for RV short queen with round corners...

The tires are dry rotted and mix matched, the rims are badly curbed so we bit the bullet and ordered 16" wheels and Michelin LTX tires.

It took a good 9+ hours of cleaning on Saturday to get it cleaned up. It had been stored the past few years in a dirt lot so it was DIRTY!!! We are lucky enough to have a place to store it indoors so hopefully we'll never have to do that kind of clean up again!

Hopefully we'll be able to take it for a shake down run soon!

You are gonna love your 25' FB!! We have a 25' with corner bed, but it works for us, including the scottie dog who will not sleep anywhere else but with us. We love our AS, but have two friends with the 25' FB --and we are just a little jealous. Someday…..
On the other hand, we've had 8 people seated inside for meals a few times. Can't do that with just any floor plan!

Yes, I think we are going to really love the extra space.

I received a tracking number yesterday that the Sleep Number mattress is on it's way. With any luck next weekend we'll get to sleep in the Airstream for the first time!

The new tires and wheels arrived this week, that will be my instal project for Saturday!

Our boys have taken to the extra space as well!

We have had a 29', a 30' and a 28'. We now have an '07 25 FBSE and love it. The queen FB is perfect with added memory foam and a good mattress pad. We have modified and added 5 extra drawers, more shelves and other helpful additions to make our storage and travels easier. I just finished making new drapes for the dining and bedroom.
You will enjoy your rig for a very long time.
love your pups...so cute..

I just got them on ebay, typed in "Sendel T02" and hit search.

I felt a little silly after I got the tires though, I thought I was getting a go deal from tire rack so I ordered them. Not until after they came in did I remember my my wholesale account with transamericanwholesale.com sells tires too... (I buy and sell a lot of Jeep and 4X4 parts) I looked up the tires and sure enough they stock them in the size I need and they would have been $150 for the set cheaper and free shipping Oh well that was a $200 lesson!

Nice rig!! Looks like you do need some weight distribution on it though.

Agreed, that picture was literally the short drive home from buying her. We were just excited to bring her home, I didn't even have any air in the airbags on the truck.

It did come with a WD hitch, however it was set up for the two wheel drive TV of the previous owner, so the ball was way too high.

Once we got home I was able to make the adjustments to set the hitch to the proper height for our lifted Dodge 4x4.

The twin beds really offer the most bedding. Considering the gap space between the mattress and walls, they are the equivalent of a half king bed.

True, but when you have slept with the same person for nearly 20 years it's just not right to have them across the hall!

Clearly your partner doesn't dance in his sleep. Mine is quite light on his feet, but kinda heavy on my shins if there's not enough room in the bed.

Congratulations!! She's a beauty. My partner and I bought a FC 20 this fall and could only use it once. Those two nights in the bed were no problem, but we'll see how cramped sleeping gets we take her out on longer trips. We're both short (me, 5 ft 7; he, 5 ft 5), so length of the bed is not the problem. After these holidays, however, we may have to worry about the width!

Then there's the dog (only a 40 lb Brittany) who may have to sleep on the dinette.

Wishing you luck on your adventures and can't wait to see more pictures.

Well we finished the new floors this week.
We sort of did a reverse on the new Internationals colors, we did a dark floor to contrast the light cabinets.
We couldn't be more thrilled with the way they came out.

Now if Camping World could just get their act together and send us the right mattress we can actually take the AS out for a trip!

Love it! It turned out great. We are looking at the same product for our 19' Bambi with a soft spot but now we have a plan for a new look!

We were going to, however we took them to a local dry cleaner had had them do a really deep clean and they came out pretty nice.

Another bonus for us, when we were taking all of the easy fixtures out to do the floors we found a box under the bed with the factory bed spread and throw cushions in it! We figured that stuff was long gone as the previous owner had removed the mattress before we bought it. Now all we need to buy is sheets for the rounded corner mattress.
