New poster here

Came across your old post and wanted to say hello. My partner and I Just purchased a 2004 28' International CCD and LOVE it. Selling our 1980 31' Excella now. First started "Streamin" about 3 yrs ago in a 1989 29' Excella. Heading west this August for a month to Glacier, Custer, Yellowstone NP with 2 other Airstreamers. Live in Atlanta and always looking for more FOD to camp with.

Welcome! Take a detour through Eureka Springs AR and join us for our rally! Your trip sounds great, a month off in an AS....someday. @ 15 years before we can do that.

Heading west in August, eh? Well, like Mitch says, you should take a rest stop in Eureka Springs on the 5th and join us!

We're only leaving Atlanta on the 18th of August. Maybe next year though. Sounds like a lot of fun.

It was 35* windy and rain like crazy. We didn't mind. Got there set up ate watched movie and went to sleep. Then spent the day in antique shops on saturday. Fun!! We found some great things. Here are some pics. Sorry for the side way ones.
My parter and I operate a small RV park outside of Blowing Rock, NC. Starlite Trailer Lodge. You can find us on the web and we would love to host you and your friends. Love our A/S!

Love this thread, I got up early this morning and Saturday Night is getting ready to begin so I'll read more tomorrow (Man, this thread is long!). Charles & I are discussing replacing our 2003 Excussion in the next year or so. Is you mileage differce 8-18. We're both TV's based on diesel, towing or solo?

We are on vacation here in Kauai, Hawaii and will return to Texas in mid-May. We are attending the international Illinois and will take our time getting back to the Texas-Heat. Is anyone planning campout? JB

We were @ The Rivers Edge 2 weeks ago with 2 other couples and 1 Airstream and had a blast! We like caravanning whenever we can. Also went with 2 other couples to Topsail Hill SP near Destin and had a great time in Feb. Has to be one of our favorite Parks so far.

Hey John,

It's not timed for your return from the International, but this FoD subforum is having a rally in Eureka Springs, AR the first weekend in August. We're in Fort Worth, just up the road from you... we could even have a mini-caravan if you decide to join us. Here's the info:

Well, now there'll be 2 trailers coming from the Metroplex, that's enough for a caravan isn't it?
