Gay AS Clubs

Hi,

My partner and I just purchased our first AS and are excited to get out there and start ASing. Are there any organized Gay AS clubs out there?

Funny: We purchased the AS and then thought "I wonder if there are other gay people camping". We tend to be slow this way.

Any way, we are in the DC area and like all Feds being furloughed so what better way to spend our forced days off - camping.

Welcome Keith and Chris,
There are folks from all persuasions of life involved in Airstreaming...You can still find judgemental people, but it's their problem. FOD is a good venue to follow...see you around a campfire, someday...mike

Hello. My partner and I have had our Bambi for serval years. Mostly West Coast Ca trips. But we're always looking to plan trips and meet other LGBT campers. Starting to think we're the only ones.

You are not alone. We are getting ready for a little peace on the Peace River. Weather has been the greatest for us in S. Fla. Very little winter this year and every day has been a camping day. Just ask all those northerners. I believe everyone that could come down, did. Will enjoy the time just getting away and living the AS life. Peace

Hi BL Mitch,

My partner and I just bought a Flying Cloud 23FB. I wrote a novel called AIRSTREAMING set in KC and Olathe, so I thought I'd let you know! More info is here: Tom Schabarum | Writer One of my closest friends lives in Countryside and grew up in Olathe and I have very close friends in Lawrence. We might be traveling through with Margaret (our Airstream) sometime soon! All best, Tom

All good here! Our summer plans and filling out and getting excited about getting on the road. SoCal is about as far south as we're going this summer although we're going to also going to Southern Nevada as well. You guys coming north at all?

Mike

Sure, I'm a member of a group of friends in Pensacola that like to camp. Ft Pickens is on our list for a trip in Late May or early June. Then up (GA) to OZ Campground. We also plan to get back to Spring Creek Campground soon.

I like OZ, was there a year ago, also was at lumberjacks, a few days before the WBCCI international in Perry GA. I live about 20 miles from the Sawmill, but that place is more a bathhouse than a campground. Just look at the schedules so Sawmill, Mars and OZ, there are no pig roasts, pet or flea market weekends at the sawmill. That all being said, I live in a pretty unique place.
