Sounds like it's shaping up to be a great rally. But we can't commit yet. Too many commitments with work right now. Possibly as it gets closer we will be able to participate ... if any sites are still available at that time.

YOU HAVE TO COME!!! Go ahead and call and make a reservation and you can cancel without any $$ as long as you do it within 72 hours. besides, we need the magaritia machine and the owners to come along with it! I hope you can make it.

Well , I'm still on track to making the rally. I spent two whole days working on the plumbing and repaired 4 leaks. I still have to replace the PRV in the back but otherwise I'm water tight in that dept. The next couple of days I'm working on the LP system. I have replaced the furnace and the stove, and found a leak in the system underneath, so today going to buy some new pipe and fittings and fix that. Then I have to replace the power converter and buy generators before the trip. I'll be functional if that happens, but a long way from finished

here's a question, I've searched through the forums and see where some folks have talked about the water pressure regulation valve. Mine has a leak, and i need to replace it. Where's the best deal? I see where most folks recommend putting one outside the trailer where the water hookup is, but no-one has talked about a new one inside the trailer. I have found one here Inland RV Center Inc. for $97.00.. is there a less expensive recommendation?

Getting a bit closer! Warm one day and cold the next! But it's making me want to camp! I talked to Catherine's Landing and he told me Crain Airstream might be interested in bringing a couple of trailers down to show off.

It's nice that Catherine's landing is excited about our rally, he checked out this thread and wanted a sample of the wine label and thought we sounded like a fun group! I think they are going to make us feel very welcome there

Were getting another FOD joining us and he's new to Airstream as well. Were about full and we still have 3 months to go, I better get busy trying to get some fun raffle prizes and Lynn better get her wide angle lens out.

Spring is sprung and I'm getting Rally fever! Here are some more pictures of Catherine's landing. Drew and Carol have a great spot and I think almost all of them will have a similar view and the trees will give us some nice shade! The walking trail is also finished.

Crain RV of Arkansas has our rally listed on their web site. Kinda funny, I guess we had better hit them up for some rally prizes.

OK, am I lame or what? I never subscribed to this thread... duh! So I just finished reading every post, and I'm (we're) excited to no end! I have been elected Pres of our local wbcci unit and so I've been planning out a season of rallies, but they just don't hold a candle to the FOD'ers. We miss you guys! Can't wait to see you all again, and our newest family members! Lynn, I was so impressed with your photography skills, I began begging Santa relentlessly for a DSLR, and well, Santa is always good to me. Dec 8 my birthday Santa got me a Nikon (probably just to shut me up!) so we'll have another photog in our midst! Brad, thanks again for taking on the role of wagonmaster! You're the best! We'll see you all in June! I bet we're going to want to stay for a week afterwards, just like at Eureka Springs last year, but I said I'd lead a caravan to International, God, do I bite off more than I can chew? hush y'all. Oh, Brad, I'm bringing the wok...

I'm excited you guys are coming again! Another friend that is coming from Austin with us is a bit of a shutterbug as well. It's going to be a fun weekend!

Hey Brad and all...

We just returned from a week-long trip to Joshua Tree National Park and the Lower Colorado River (River Island State Park (AZ)...

While on the trip Greg and I discussed the rapidly rising gas prices and experienced the sticker shock of paying $4+/gal on trips for the first time. It was outrageous ... and it's supposed to get worse before it gets better.

As much as we hate to do it, we are going to have to cancel on our trip to the Hot Springs FOD Rally in June. We really hate to do this, but the reality of it is that it would be too expensive of a trip for us to make — just for the gas — since it's 1200+ miles one way for us to just get there...not to mention other expenses.... If we lived reasonably close, we'd be there for sure.

Again, we're sorry, but we are sure the rest of you will have a grand time of it. We will sure miss meeting everyone.
