That's what I told them! But I do draw the line at cocktail preference!

We live in Siloam Springs, only about 50 miles away. If you come from Tulsa on 412, you'll pass right through. Welcome to Arkansas! ES is a fun town, lots of good food, and good folks.
We would join you for a weekend away from home, if that's ok with everyone?

Re: concerns about cocktail preference: No, no no... you're thinking about it the wrong way. People with different cocktail preferences are leaving more of your preferred beverage for YOU!

Not sure we'll actually be able to make it in reality, but I'm sure this group will welcome anyone who wants to camp and join in the fun... Come on over! A very good time is almost guaranteed!

Were up to 8 trailers! Also our friends from Air Midwest (Charlie and Holly) will be joining us as Friends of Friends of Dorothy! They are a ton of fun and their Airstream (PC lounge) is sooo cool! They are even making a gift for a raffle prize. We can't wait for the rally.

The rally isn't until August but what's everyones thoughts on a schedule of events? There will be tons of Diversity events in town to do so most days we could leave open but what about dinner etc? Pot luck on Friday and Saturday night? Or just Saturday night? I could rent the gazebo so we can all be together and do we want to do a raffle for prizes? I could look for donations from AS vendors and have some fun things to give away.
Let me know your thoughts and I'll work on a schedule and post events going on for that weekend.

I'm down with a potluck. Should we theme it? I'm not talking nationality, maybe something like trailer park cuisine or Wizard of Oz inspired.

Why is the only thing I can think of tuna casserole with Lay's potato chips crumbled on top? I can even see the interior of the vaguely-Spanish-style interior of the '70s single-wide in my mind's eye.

If served on china, classy! I think we have a fun theme going on here. Be creative because we might attach a prize to the most creative idea!

Well then... I haven't settled on all the dishware and stuff for our Argosy (I don't even have a truck yet... Thursday should resolve that.) Still, I'm thinking more melamine than china... interesting funky Target melamine, most likely, but more bounce than shatter.
