Anyone want to try for the Starlite for an Eastern Friend of Dorthy Rally? This place looks great, maybe May of next year?

It sounds tempting but pretty far for the group at Eureka Springs. My original thought was to have several FOD rally's and then maybe merge them together for one big national Air rally. Starlight looks great though. Anyone from Eureka have any thoughts on this?

We will let you know the next time we are going to Starlite. We can also meet up in may. Have you been to sawmill yet? We haven't. I hear it can be a good time there. We will keep in touch.

We really enjoyed NC a couple of years ago on a car trip, before the Argosy found me. That said, David and I aren't likely to be able to take such a trip before the middle of 2014 unless I tow the trailer out and he flies to meet me, he won't really get to set his schedule until then. It looks like a great campground, though.

I'm liking the idea of an Eastern FOD Rally. The place in North Carolina, close to Boone, is sounding better and better. There are some camps that are Gay Owned and operated in Northern Georgia, Southern GA, and a few in Florida as well. Thinking I'd really like to be in the mountains about May next year though. If this sort of time of year doesn't work for most of the Eastern FOD's, how about suggestions for a date? I think I am going to Northern Virginia for 4th of July next summer, any thoughts to being in NC mountains for end of June time frame? So many possibilities. Anyone with thoughts please post or PM me.

There are a few in pa. We went to oneida campground. It was fun. Steep mountain 4x4 needed. Once up the mountain it's a great view.

There is also the Woods Campground in the Poconos. We were perms there for a few years. I've also heard of Hillside, but was never there.

What a wonderful weekend- the weather was amazing (80 degrees), the food delish, and the people were as warm as the weather.

Hi,
Anyone planning on being at the Florida State Rally. Friend of mine has gone last couple of years, had a GREAT time, but also commented that everyone there is "100 and a half"
If all goes well with restoration, I'd like to get my Airstream to Sarasota next February for my first camping trip.
Love to meet up with other FOD's!
