Any F.O.D. 'Full timers' out there??

Howdy,
My partner & I are relatively new to the Airstream scene. Have a subscription to Airstream Life (& trailer life). Joined Good Sam & intend on joining WBCC. We are SERIOUSLY thinking about "Cashing Out" & retiring as Full Timers. Any advice/thoughts etc??
Thanx

Perhaps I didn't express our intentions as clearly as I could have. What I meant by "Cash Out" was that we'd sell our home, furniture, art, etc... and buy a newer/better tow vehicle & also have our '79 totally gutted & modernized for full time living.

You will have a great time. We have met so many full-timers over the past couple of years. They follow the weather --south in the winter and north in the summer. You'll find quite a community of fellow full-timers out there. AS and SOB'ers alike.
As for us, we have to keep working!

Cool, thanx Jup-J! As I have to go hop in the shower now & prep for work, I'm inspired. We set a goal of a 3-5yr transition plan to accomplish the "Full timer" dream. But are willing to do it sooner, if things fall into place!

Thanx Nelson!

We'll certainly embark sooner, if all of the stars align properly, as they say. Just trying to be realistic. Ya see, I've collected Mid-Century furnishings & a variety of art work, since I was 18 years old. I honestly couldn't afford to buy the items we presently own, given the recent appeal of MCM to the masses. But we can certainly sell it!!

Update:

After 3 separate "Estate" sales & 2 sub sequential "Garage" sales, we're DONE! We've invested in a MUCH better truck & will be starting our "Full Time" life, just one week from today!! This Retirement stuff has been HARD WORK!! But we can almost see the light @ the end of the tunnel. And we've joined the various clubs & organizations we think will aide in our new lifestyle:
WBCCI
Escapees
Workamper
Good Sam
And there may be others that escape my mind @ the moment. We welcome any advice y'all have to offer.
Thanx!

Good luck on the new adventure. I must say, you are moving aggressively toward your new situation... Here's hoping the best to you!

We tend to actively work towards our goals, whatever they might be. Never was able to find "Someday" on the calendar.

This is great line, the one my wife uses for these major lifestyle occasions is "What are we waiting for, our health to get better?"

We just sold our house and plan to sell most of our stuff over the next few weeks. We also stopped by the airstream dealer today to renew our enthusiasm. We've got one more year to go before our fulltime dream comes true.
