We stopped at Tom Sawyer last year. Huge campground....most sites are devoid of trees. Seemed as the best spots were seasonals parked right on the river, and with some shade. We pulled in on the most hot, humid, miserable afternoon of last year's camping season. Both A/C's cranked all night and the next morning there was a veritable lake around the trailer from the condensate that's drained out above the wheel well. It is a GREAT park for dog walking and the management was very accommodating. Within the past year or so, a new access road was constructed so trucks would have quicker, less-traffic access. (Fairly industrial area.) This route may NOT show up on your GPS, so use the directions on their website. Will save a LOT of time and stoplights.

Ok we have a theme for Saturday evening's potluck.......... TV Dinner night! Test your culinary skills while thinking about food in small compartments. Anything goes as long as it will fit in a TV Dinner tray and of course there will be a prize for presentation and taste. So get inspired and creative...we have a reputation for the best potluck and don't want to disappoint the new comers

me too....I'm new to AS and the forums, but I too would love to have some FOD gatherings out west....I'm in Colorado!

We have members coming from the Denver area, they have made the trek fro the last three years.

We also have a couple from CA coming this year, about 10 states are represented every year and it seems to be growing. If you wanted to host one we could help via email and phone but it's really not too hard to set up or you could make a small road trip...

Quick question. You have two David B.'s, one in 113 and one in 117. I assume the Bears are still in 117? Just asking so Felicia can make a tag for me stating "If found stumbling around after happy hour please return to site 117"

thanks....I'm trying to manage "some work plane trips" to see if I can make this trip. If not, yes, I'd like to work to plan one for the Colordao area - would be a great way for me to meet more of you - and dig in! thanks for the support....
