I hope there's a lot of traffic when we're there. My kids will love it.
We're pulling the trigger on this one and we've even decided to spend 2 nights at Tom Sawyer and enjoy the Memphis area. We plan to arrive on Tuesday and then drive Thursday AM to Hot Springs to the rally. I hope others can join us. I haven't reserved a site yet but based on their website I will be requesting a back-in riverside site.

While you're exploring Memphis I recommend trying Rizzo's diner. It was delicious when we were there a year ago. A few blocks from the Civil Rights Museum.

We are hoping the Mad Men theme is a sure go. We've watched only one episode so far. But more importantly Andrea bought a sweet dress today that fits the theme. I've already got a rockin' Hawaiian shirt to go with shorts. I wonder if the campground would let us take over the pool area for a private party :-)

I welcome suggestions, but usually the mood of the kids guides us on destinations. We have to do something to engage them and then usually food and drink from dinner and later is where mom and dad get to choose. Rizzo's is on the list from above. We will have probably 1 full day and an afternoon / evening at Tom Sawyer / Memphis. So that means 2 dinners and 1 lunch food-wise and likely 1 day in town. The primary destination is the RV park itself and to watch the river; And to consume wine/food with other campers.

Well then, we should all get BBQ from cozy corner for one nights dinner. Maybe a river boat cruise or exploring the river front and hunting for geo caches is the way to go. If the Coast Guard river tender is in that week I could get you a tour. We can discuss over wine the first night.

It is! I'm on season 3 and love the show! I've thought about the pool and still working on it but the pavilion has the seating. I just love the idea of the pool.

Looks like I need to cancel my trip. Family stuff happening and can't get away. So spot # 83 is open. Maybe next year!

Have a great time.
