I guess Parker (our son) will have an 8th birthday at an airstream rally. Count us in for camping and the boat ride. I'm not sure if the kids will go on the boat ride or not. Grandma has a pontoon boat, so it's not a fear of boats and Parker sometimes drives the boat. I'm just thinking that a load for wine drinking folks might not be the best place to bring the kids. They can hang out in the camper for a while. Although the kids are used to having a bunch of new people at home partying and drinking wine...

Yeah, we'll handle the cake for all. Most likely something with strawberries on it. That's been his favorite since he could eat.

Last year's boat ride was tame enough for kids. The craziest it got was a little dip in the lake for a bio break. Disappointing, right?!?
Becky and I are in, both the trip and boat. I think Mellie and Elizabeth will be in as well, but I'm confirming.

Ok it's official! Here is the link to the sign up page. Sites 101-124 are all lake front and are held for us so call Catherine's Landing and reserve your spot as soon as you can! There may be a nice prize for one lucky FODer!

Is there a "normal" gathering site or area for campfire, etc? We usually try to get a site near that so that we can keep an eye out for children wandering out of the Airstream after bed time while parents are at the fire and socializing.

Felicia and I asked to be put in the middle of the row again this year so they put us in 111. Can not wait! Hopefully the MoHo will be done enough to bring it or we will end up in a yurt!
Now that we have a goal, I gotta get my butt moving on the renovation!
So do folks want me to bring Memphis championship ribs again?
Gonna focus on Malbecs, chiantis and Rioja regions this year for accompanying beverages.
Beau the basset will be the designated driver.....
