Sounds like a nice opportunity for for a couple able to do it. We have had 4 work camping experiences so far, working at a resort, a warehouse, and volunteering at an animal refuge. This sounds like a nice gig for anyone not needing additional income and wanting to winter in Oregon. Thanks for posting it.

Gee, That's strange. I've heard of every little burg on the map around there. That's my heritage. My grandfather farmed, owned a hotel, and was a lighthouse keeper in that part of Oregon. I spent a bunch of time in the summer around there when I was a kid.

Now, with all of that said, I sure don't want to spend a winter there. That's why I'm in Colorado. The sun is shining right now.

Why we're in Arizona, too. Had too much of this up north until April . Click on "rainwear", that's what we used to put on in the mornings and wear to bed.helleyhansen.com

We lucked out with a popular radio station starting out here in town. I am a wall dog (mural artist)...so we did some wall work for them...and I had expressed my dis-like for trailer parks- so they moved us out here under their tower (interesting place during lightning storms) but we are out in the country and the sunsets are spectacular. Work Camping is great and I had looked into that back when we were unable to pull or travel. Say Pappi- can you post ads in there for yourself and what you do also?

Thanks Sean, Lucille and I had a blast at the Johnson City Rally, especially meeting all of the great Texicans and seeing new country. I can't post any copies of The Caretake Gazette as they threatened me with a copyright law suit for posting here. I thought I was helping them out but not so. The wife and I work on utility projects across the country obtaining easements and permits for client companies. Jobs usually last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. We are currently working on the Eagle-Ford Shale in south Texas. We still maintain our home in Garden Valley, Idaho but for the time being, home is our '02 AS 30' Classic with SO.
