replacement of waste water holding tank 1969 overlander

I have a slow leak under the waste tank. I dropped the underbelly skin only to find another metal housing enclosing the tank. Rust and discoloring lead me to believe there must be a slow leak inside that housing possibly in or around the tank. When I filled the tank drops appear around the skin, from where, I cannot determine. The gate valve does not work. I replaced it with the add on V value. Does anyone have advice or pictures of removing the housing and replacing the tank? I have somewhere around 350 hrs in this restoration project in the last 2 months looking forward to enjoying my work but I am ,perplexed. Apparently the leak was slow enough it didn't bother the last folks but I hate to go so far and not address this issue. Dave up high in the CO mountains. Leadville
