I Finally Have One!

Well, We are finally the proud new owners of a brand spankin new 2016 Classic. After dealing with some health issues earlier in the year and cancelling a order for a new Classic, I took delivery of one last Friday. We were lucky enough to find one that a Dealer had just received, that was "exactly" the way we wanted it. Rear queen, Solar package, Power awning, Chestnut leather and Sandalwood Corian. We got home Friday night and I have been busy doing the first "mods" on my list and my wife has been busy cleaning and packing the inside. The reason that we are running around the clock is that we are planning to leave this Friday morning for a month long trip to the Southwest! That only gave us six days to try and get everything ready. I had the Dealer "Walbernize" the complete trailer so it would be protected for the trip. My first mods were as follows, Install Progressive Ind voltage controller and surge guard with remote display, Install second sewer hose storage, Install stainless cable and 110 outlet covers, "no more plastic," Had 80 PSI of nitrogen installed in tires, Had three rear bedroom windows tinted with 3M - 20% window tint, to match the other windows. Looks really sweet and should help a lot with privacy and heat. I really like the new features that they added for 16. I hope to post some pictures along the way of our 6000 mile "break in" trip.

Make sure you test all the systems while you are loading and getting ready for your trip. Maybe camp in it in your driveway. Hopefully nothing major is found before your trip.

Congratulations

Kelvin

Well, you're lookin mighty sporty there "cowboy". Now you "steer clear" of folks you meet out there on the highway. There'll be alot of people out there ah "wanting what you got". In Oklahoma there's Indians - maybe want to "scalp" ya. Down near Mexico -(along the border)- keep a lookout for illegals climbing on board for a free ride. The Southwest can be a dangerous place for a fellow, esp sporting a shiney new rig. Better keep Matt Dillon's cell number on yer speed-dialer deevice. Bit of beef-jerkey on those saddle bags may come in handy out in southeast Arizona...not many Starbutts Cafe's out there that I've seen. Last word of addvice...some good walkin shoes....cowboy boots aint to good fer a long walk. Some of that sun-screen too. Haaaa (enjoy your outing)

Great to take a long maiden voyage. There are always bugs with new rigs and you should be able to shake most of them loose. Don't be frustrated by them, just be glad you found them. And have a great time!

We need pictures!

Cheers,
John

Perhaps you should have a small gun. But not in Mexico or Canada. Do NOT have a shell in the chamber and keep it in holster.

Congratulations on your new classic. Have a safe trip. We are excited about ours, it should be here in December. Keep us posted on how the shake down trip goes.

I can't afford a new one, but I got 16" wheels ordered for mine. The wheels should be here tomorrow.
Then our trailers will have something in common.

The nitrogen molecules are larger than the air ones , so it takes a bigger hole to form a leak, such as around the bead or other places. Just my 2 cents!

I guess you realize that air is mostly nitrogen. Air is a mixture of gases.
