Help with features on a 2013 Classic 31'

In the pic below there are two features I need help identifying. In the overhead there seems to be a breaker panel of sorts. Is this due to the 50 AMP service?? The second is at the pillow, the small panel on the side of the closet. It seems like you can cut this out to provide access to the lower closet area. Thanks for the help!!

The first pic is of a residential style breaker box for the 120 volt house system- Airstream quality- It should be labeled a/c, reefer, GFCI, TV, etc.
The second picture is of a panel you can remove (you don't have to "cut it out") if you want to so your clock or electric blanket controls in that space- use it like a bedside table at the house-
I left those panels in to store underwear, t-shirts, and socks in that cabinet. I just let the electric blanket cord dangle out of the cabinet door- just not in the corner-
I have wondered why they bother with a closet bar in there- I don't have any clothes that short- I store short sleeve pullover shirts and shorts in there.
That portion of the 31 is identical to my 30.

LOL...I just finally found a good picture to ask about the features. My dealer choice is limited on the East coast. I got those picked out for now.

I have a need for that to be an open space so it's nice that it can be opened up easily. Is this breaker panel only found on the Classic line?? Seems odd it's in a storage area. I haven't seen any other models with a panel like this one in such an area.

I have the 50 amp two AC version that has that panel. I believe that's why the panel is there. You give up the 30 amp front input plug where the generator would go when you go to 50 amp. I figured that out after I got my rig.

I'm not sure if it's a Classic only thing, but it may be- like the upgraded converter, Classic aluminum steps, Classic only tail lights, Classic only big bezels/bases on the clearance lights, hickory cabinets, Corian counters, Moen faucets, etc.
Or it may be a 50 amp trailer thing- I will always have a 50 amp trailer from here on (I will probably have this one forever- Heirstream).
That big ole Square D breaker panel says quality to me. I have never seen a residential style panel in any other travel trailer.
I don't know how far your are geographically from Colonial, but that dealership is awesome.

Here are the AC electrical schematics for a 2012 31' Classic in both the 30amp and 50amp flavors.

I have the 12v schematics too if anyone is interested.

The 30W and 31W have a Square D residential breaker panel in the roof locker over the rear bed.

m.hony, check the rear wall behind your rear window curtain for additional outlets on each side. I had my AS for a couple months before I discovered these outlets. A much better, and hidden place for the electric blanket plug in.

BTW, I have my panels out. I installed wire shelves in the upper portion to segregate socks, shorts, tees, etc. I use the lower level strictly for a bedstand for clock, glasses, book, etc.

I also don't understand the hanging shirt bar in there. Doesn't work well. I need to remove mine one of these days.

Colonial is close it's just driving time. I REALLY kick myself now for not going to Hershey PA for the show.

I'm just trying to understand the true nature of the panel. Do the other 30' models have something like this or just the Classic line??

The breaker box is there in 30A units as well.....there is a door that covers it when closed. You probably knew that, but it isn't visible in the provided pic.

OH trust me I've looked over ALL kinds of pics and floor plans for the AS line. I really like the International line. The Classic has some features I like as well. I'm not sold on the Classic interior colors/wood. From what I have gathered speaking to a AS sales rep (Tim) it's like ordering at In-n-Out burger. You need to ask about the secret menu to know what can be done to your AS. LOL

Okay...so the breaker box is there. I will say I've never seen other models with it in that location in pictures.

Good idea.
What about the receptacle in the dinette booth?
What's up with that?

I'd guess their thought is for a toaster and/or coffeemaker at the table????
I use mine for the small dehumidifier which fits well under the table and still have plenty of room at the dinette for the two of us. I also have an LED nightlight under there. It provides just enough light to show you the floor at night.
