Fantastic Fan Problem

I have a 2014 23D and both my fan units continue to automatically close with the red led flashing even if not raining. Does high humidity cause this and is their a way I can by pass this automatic shutdown?

High humidity and dew can cause this, as well as dirt on the sensor.
On some models, you can disable the sensor, but if yours are OEM, you won't have the switch to do so. You can turn the fan speed to 0, though that will also shut off the fans. The sensor works by the moisture closing the circuit, causing the lid to close. It's not terribly difficult to disconnect the sensors, which should prevent this from happening. It will also prevent the lid from closing in the event of rain, so take that into consideration before disconnecting the sensors.
