Dirty clothes hamper Classic 30?
I was wondering if anyone has a better idea than merely hanging a laundry bag in the closet for soiled clothes? As the laundry bag becomes filled it seriously encroaches on the hanging clothes. My floor plan is the 30 with the shower on one side and the bathroom on the port side. Appreciate any feedback.

We have a folding hamper that we store in the shower. Take it out when showering, put it back and out of the way the other 97.6% of the time we're camping 😄
No encroaching on closet space and easy enough for us. Good luck!

We have one of those cylindrical collapsible trash cans we put on the closet floor under the hanging clothes. Cover with a trash bag if you need a cover. Simple.. Then you can collapse when not using...

We are installing a side by side washer and drier in our 25' Tradewind ( wife is detergent sensitive so we can't use outside laundries ) so the washer is a great place for the dirty clothes
Ok , How ? you ask. Our floor plan has twin beds/ couches in the front and a 3rd bed across from the kitchen. We don't need it as much as a counter top and the laundry fits under the counter along with the furnace and some more storage.
If for some reason we ever need a 3rd bed we can always throw a mattress on the counter.

Walmart has folding pop-up mesh hampers which are quite reasonable in price.
Mainstays Basic Pop Up Hamper - Walmart.com
We store them in the shower, two can fit in the lower floor area. You can turn on the shower vent if the clothes start to ripen, something you can't do in the closet.
Great for toting dirty clothes to the laundry as well as toting the clean ones back.

We never thought of another place than the closet floor. I do suppose that the covered bed of our pickup truck would work very well for the laundry bag. No ripening orders or encroachment in the closet.

Go with the mesh laundry bags in the shower. You can open the vent to air out. Also pack the full bag to the laundry. We also have a 30 classic and it works quite well.

We put ours in the right corner of the bedroom. I crawl around it to get to my clothes in the drawer and wardrobe. I guess we could put it in the shower.

OK, I think I've found an answer to the laundry dilemma thanks to the input I received from the group. What I did was initially change the floor in the closet so that it was level and eliminate the loss of space in the back from the 2nd level to avoid the plumbing. Although I lost a little height I gained a significant amount of utilizable floor space. I covered the platform with the Beau Flor that was taken out of the front when i removed the carpet. I purchased a Sterilite 13.2 Gal, swing top waste receptacle from Walmart and altered the swing top to only leave the rim which i painted flat black to hide my lousy cuts. A mesh laundry bag fits perfectly in the container and the altered rim locks it securely in place. It fits nicely in the closet, the shower and the corner of he bed room. I'll play with final location on our next trip. Thanks for all the ideas and help.

Ron I have made a similar floor mod.
We mostly use the spring-type collapsible hampers.

HUH, I fully utilize that little "shelf" in the back of the closet. It is just the right depth for the dehumidifier, a small blender and coffee maker. all held in place with a bungee.

With all due respect, just think how much more convenient it would be if the entire area was flat.

Either way...this is just one of those FEW things that don't bother me.

Hi, our 25' Safari has two huge plastic containers under our queen bed; We use both of those for laundry. Whites and towels in one and colors in the other. Always out of sight and not taking up any other space.
