Close Enough to Perfect
One of my favorite "Alabama" songs is "Close Enough to Perfect." That song title describes our 2016 Classic. After a week testing "Rose" during the 2016 Canopener rally at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, the only things we found needing attention were the outside shower door (just short of closing properly) and the electric start on the oven (all were omitted, it seems). We approached our new baby with a healthy dose of skepticism; quality issues experienced by AS earlier in the year made us cautious and we have lived through horrible quality issues in the past with an RV. Way back in 2000, we purchased a new Newmar Dutch Star which had too many quality issues to list. If you can think of it, it was probably screwed up on that Diesel Pusher MH.
Now back to the pleasant stuff -
Our unit has been great and the Foley RV folks have been great. Ron Lester has been helpful and consultative from our very first telephone conversation and is even more delightful in person. The Foley Service Mgr, Blake, is just as nice.
We are happy with our AS and our AS experience so far; of course, staring off at Canopener is a great way to start.
Today is my first day as a retired person; it seemed appropriate to post this today. Feeling blessed.
