Can only buy the Dometic at shows,we could not find a place to buy on line. They have 2 different models and we bought the one with a rear opening on it so I could change the bag easier. I will have to make a few changes on the bathroom. A lot of empty space. The International(I think) has a small shelf that runs along the wall above the window. There is enough space to also have one in this model and I will try to make one to fit and look like it belongs. Also the mirror on the inside wall is WAY to big and would be better smaller with a small storage cabinet in the upper corner. We are also going to try to call the people who are building the cabinets in the Classic and see if they can build a 10 inch deep book shelf to put behind the booth and in front of the couch. There is more than enough room for this with a shoe space at the bottom. Was told by the factory that if you deal straight with Zip Dee you can get a remote to run the awning(a must have when it is raining).Now all we can do is wait to get ours and start our new life on the road.

@Babs

Barry, you should have seen us at the RV show Thursday morning. We were in line when the doors opened and went straight to the Classic with tape measure in hand. Managed to crawl all over it and write down measurements before anyone else entered the trailer.

My after work task is now paring down my cooking gear even more. Went through two drawers last night.

I am looking forward to seeing the modifications on yours at Alumalina. Are you still on target for delivery this week?

I'm at the stage of, "it'll get here when it gets here." I'm sure I'll get a status report this week. I am obviously anxious for its arrival, if for no other reason to start installing the parts that'll go in it....solar, sat dish, rear view cam, Magnum Inverter, etc. AND, of course, all the stuff that I had in the 28 is stacked up in the pool house for migration into the new trailer. I fully support the, "if you haven't used it in the last year, take it out of the trailer" theory. As far as cooking gear goes....be prepared to majorly divest yourself of home stuff, as you two will be in the FT mode and will find how much you really don't need! Barry

We went to the Tampa RV show last Friday and really liked the looks of the Cherry cabinetry in the new Classic. As with anything there's always features you like and others not so much but all in all the interior is well done. I congratulate everyone who is getting one and believe you will be very happy spending some serious time in this one.

I really like the 2015 Classic twin bed model with dark upholstery, but my 2013 is still new...
