Hey Gal,you might be surprised how much I do look like mine! I am almost exactly the same size-6'5" and 225lbs. I do however have better hair than the Duke had and I love my guns! I placed my order last week. I don't want nor do I need it before the first of April.

Ok - that's right! I remember now!! Well I wish I could say I look like my avatar!! In my dreams!! I will say The Duke is my hero!! Keep thinking we are going to pull the plug and order ours. If we do, it going to be the chestnut with lighter countertops too I think. They are both so good looking - it's hard to make a decision, but given our lifestyle, I think the darker fabric will work out better for us! They are gorgeous!!

The Duke was an "American Hero!" Not too many of those left, unfortunately. Ya'll should go ahead and pull the trigger, after all, it's only money!

Got word from my dealer that mine should be rolling off the floor tonight (Friday).
Just the blinds left to install.
He anticipates picking it up Sunday. Jackson sent him some Thursday pics.

This is very exciting!
Ron

Sorry, the pics are on their side. On my computer they show properly.

Cool! I see that you went with the Macadamia and dark Corian. Should be beautiful.

It looks like AS reduced the size of the rock guards like the older units. Anyone else noticed?

The rock guards on Airstreams being shipped to Canada are indeed smaller than the rock guards on US Airstreams. Don't know why. JimClick image for larger version

Hey Rawn, are you sure that eco-diesel will pull that new Classic? If I am not mistaken, the tow rating on your truck is 9000lbs and the GVWR of the Classic is 10000lbs. You may be a little short?

After towing my 30' FC for 5 years with 3 different half ton RAMs with a Hensley, I am more than confident with the new Classic hitched up.

But....

However you maybe right. Chances are after 5 miles towing, my EcoDiesel will probably implode on itself resulting in a massive explosion of biblical proportions. It could damage nearby vehicles, towns; possibly take out the local power grid. Oh, and what about my insurance company not covering?!?!
Did I forget about being a menace to society???

Sorry but I am the most sarcastic member of this forum, and sick of having the CAN I TOW THIS WITH THIS DEBATE

No one ever reaches GVWR unless they are hauling rocks from every place they visit or jars of jelly or other canned goods.

Ron, you must be very excited.....we are looking forward to seeing your Classic on Saturday.

BTW, thanks for the pictures.....it gives me a great idea for a custom option on our FC that will "fix" something that bothered us. I'll be talking to Andy while we are visiting CanAM

One thing I'm not keen on. The two way vertical blinds. At first it seems nice to have an option for both a solid blind and a semi-opaque "day-time" blind but there's no way to have it fully open to enjoy the full wrap around view. I'm wondering if the semi-opaque portion of the blind could be removed so you are either fully open or completely closed....that would be more ideal for us.

Cory
You can open both sections to have a clear view.
I've changed my bedroom blinds twice with different types. I'm thinking these new Classic ones will be the best ones yet. But time will tell....
See you Saturday.

Well, well...I just had my first look at the 2015 Classic thanks to Firedog! What a beauty to say the least! Thank you so much Russ and Lisa for letting us come over and take a sneak peak. I did not want to leave! Guess I better get to selling A LOT more homes cause I've got it in my blood now and it's not going to go away!
