Same thing happened to us. Then out of the blue they call and say that our new home was in the lot. Same dealer also. Make sure you check everything before you leave the lot. They are always behind on getting things done and we found out that they didn't even return our calls and texts until we went through the sales department. We love our trailer problems and all. I will fix the power awning myself when we get to our next stop in Christmas Florida since I am a rv technician

After a couple of weeks delay my Classic is scheduled for delivery the end of this month. Hopefully part of the delay is because they upped the QC. My dealer also stated that the last two Classics they got in had no issues. Of course that is salesmen talk.

I don't think the 2016 F150 is available yet. Hope I'm wrong but I read it won't be available for a couple months?

I was towing a 30' Flying Cloud with a 2015 F150. Depends on the trim level but for me the payload was quite lacking and I thought it was working a little hard in the mountains. At the international rally all who were towing a 30' trailer had an F250 or other brand equivalents. At times in very windy conditions I felt as though I was being pushed around a bit. In short just cut to the chase and consider a F250 diesel.

sorry, my question should be,

Is there any of you 2015 Classic guys towing it with an F-150.

(I see TinCan has moved on to a 250, ... thanks for the input. )

to answer your question, I did tow with a 2014 F150, did not like it, poor payload capacity, I even added airbags, Did not like the way it handled and breaking. I upgraded to the 2015 F250 and we are extremely happy with it. Handles great, I got the diesel and love it but the gas one would do the same, perhaps little less torque.

When I brought the 2013 25FB International Serenity home to the Phoenix area from the selling dealership in Los Angles towing with my 2007 Mercedes ML320 CDI diesel, the Hensley hitch kept the sway towing issues at bay on I-10 in Arizona with lots of semi trucks passing at 80 while I was at 55 mph. Unfortunately, after the load out for camping, the CAT scales reported overload conditions on the front axle and the GVW was exceeded.

I made the migration to a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500HD diesel and, to borrow a USPS motto, if it fits, it goes.

I balked at acquiring the last official 34' Classic (#25 of 25) as the 11,500 GVW could have put me in a very overloaded condition when looking at the GCVW numbers.

Our 2014 31' Classic is the perfect match for us with this truck.

Absolutely no issues towing in the mountains even at the CATR scale weight of 19,200 pounds. The engine brake gets good work out on steep declines and the regular brakes are seldom touched. I get the usual 12 to 13 mpg on the flats and perhaps 10 going up steep inclines at whatever speed is needed.

I think the 10,000 pound GVW of the 31' Classics need a ¾ ton truck. The Flying Cloud & International 30/31' models with a GVW of 8,800 pounds are strong candidates for that size tow vehicle as well.

The issue is the real payload of the tow vehicle versus how much stuff we take plus the typical over 1,000 pounds of tongue weight to be carried.

New shower head

We want to replace the shower head that came with our Classic and wondered if anyone had found one that matches up with the holder? I want one that has the water saver that shuts the flow down to a trickle, like our old one. I would really like the Oxygenics if it works.
Thanks

They made a bronze one that would match the 2014 Classic. They might have one now to match the newer Classics.

I am getting ready to winterize my Classic

I have a tank and pump I fill with Rv antifreeze and connect to the water inlet hose I have a couple of questions
If I by pass the water heater will the antifreeze go thru all the hot lines
How many low point drains are there
Do I need to put antifreeze in the fresh water tank and run the pump

Any other advice will be appreciated

Thanks

Earl

I will be winterizing mine shortly and will double check, but think there are 2 low point drains beneath the trailer. You will need to drain your pump or pump antifreeze thru it. The pump is a little awkward to get to, but I was able to install the winterization kit's valve to the intake side of the pump. Some just pour antifreeze into the tank and pump thru the system. The hot water bypass allows you to pump antifreeze thru the hot water lines and not fill the tank, make sure you drain the hot water tank thou, and don't forget the outside shower.
