They also store under the sofa arm rests where the cushions don't fit so good.

One of the first 2016 Classics has been delivered - ours!

It's a twin bed model with Chestnut Ultra-leather seating and Sandalwood Corian countertops, solar panels, and drawers in lieu of oven. We declined to order the power awning. We love the extra storage in the twin bed model: 4 under bed drawers, 2 roof lockers and 2 hanging shirt closets over the beds, and 2 additional outside storage compartments!

We picked it up on June 30th at Haydocy Airstream in Columbus, OH and have been camped at the Airstream Terraport ever since. The Airstream techs did a great job today resolving the few minor issues we've found so far.

We love the 2016 additions and changes, the most obvious being: lights in most overhead cabinets, the rope light under the awning, the power dinette table, and a change to a Cuisinart Convection Microwave.

BTW, we stopped by the cabinet maker yesterday to discuss some custom items we are considering adding that we want to match the existing cabinets. He noted the cabinet face frames and doors are made from Northern Adirondack Cherry from Pennsylvania. The large flat panels are a laminate on the 2016's and he indicated that was a good change from a durability standpoint, because many large cherry plywood panels were getting scratched and scrapped during assembly. The color match is good between the laminate and the real cherry, but the stain color was lightened slightly for 2016 to match the new laminate.

Overall, we are elated. Here are a couple of photos:

Beautiful, congratulations! I would love to know how the incline feature on the twins works. What is the mechanism that raises the mattress, and is the mattress hinged somehow? Thanks in advance.

On our 2015, there is a switch next to each twin bed that raises the head of the mattress. Mattress is not hinged

Joe the twin isn't hinged but the top 18 inches or so that is over the lift mechanism is slightly thiner than the lower part of the mattress. Same mechanism as the queen bed only smaller.

Gary is correct, the twin mattresses are thinner in the head area to accommodate the mechanism that raises the head and to allows the mattress to bend easier. They also have a custom profile to accommodate the curve of the corner aluminum and the tilt up feature. I am attaching a couple of photos. The power tilt switch can be seen on the wall next to the bed.

Given these custom features, it will be difficult to have a custom mattress made if the factory mattresses are not to your liking.

That said, the factory mattresses have a memory foam pillow top design. Lorrie and I have back issues that are very sensitive to mattress design and firmness. I think this is the best RV mattress I have ever personally experienced (but not saying the best for everyone) and so far in 5-6 nights am OK with it as delivered, but we are testing memory foam toppers for Lorrie to try to find something that works for her.

Your mileage may vary.

I will soon take delivery of a 2016 classic queen. I'm very excited! Have you or anyone else looked at the custom memory foam toppers from "matressinsider"?

We purchased a memory foam topper from Amazon and absolutely love it. We had one for our Queen and when we bought the 2015 Classic with twins, we went right back and bought the same brand (king) and cut them to fit the mattresses. We sleep like babies!

2015 Classic here - Question around the dining room table... It will not "stay up" and slowly lowers/sinks with very little weight on the table. Any quick fixes for this "telescoping table" mount?
