Go to airstream.com, then click on the Classic, then click on the interiors, there is no image showing the chestnut in a trailer, there is however a color patch. It is not very good and I doubt it is very accurate. But like I said, I have plenty of time to change it once we see it if we don't like it. My Dealer told me that he is expecting some actual pictures in the near future.

Duke using the color patch for the Chestnut and a bit of Photoshop it might look something like this.

Duke I think I saw one of the couches when I was at the factory in August. Seemed like it was much darker than what I depict but the color you see is what the color sampler in Photoshop sensed when I sample the swatch on the page. Time will tell how accurate it is.

looks great, would not expect it to look the same...these browswers and monitors are not color managed and the resultant photo may be vastly different...although with that particular color it may not vary much. I like the look of it!!

I thought the chestnut cabinets and the couch material might be lighter in real life-

Michael if you look at the color panels on the Airstream site everything is the same except you get a choice of Dark/Light Corian and choice on the furniture. Cabinets, flooring etc are the same. Chestnut is the furniture color. Cabinets are still Cherry.

I was thinking they were offering a lighter stain on the cabinets.

I think I am changing to the Macadamia, the Chestnut is more grey than I thought. It matches the flooring more than I like. I like more contrast and I think the Macadamia offers that with the dark Corian table and the color of the flooring.

And even though I did the mockup photo I to think the 'real' color on the Chestnut will be darker. I want to see the real thing before I make a final decision. My concern is that if it is really dark then the entire trailer inside will be a bit dark and gloomy. Having only seen and spent some time in the Macadamia interior the furniture helps keep things pretty light inside.

The skylights and many windows will make it bright inside even if the cabinets are black-

We have the Macadamia with the lighter counters (Sandalwood). We liked
the look of the darker counters in the pictures but practically trying to keep the dark counters looking clean we decided the Sandalwood was better for us. Either way it is a beautiful trailer & good luck.

Bob would be interested in seeing some photos of your counter tops. Haven't seen anything with the Sandalwood counters.

I tend to agree with you. With the new darker cabinets and flooring the chestnut may be too dark for my taste. My Dealer said that I didn't have to make a final decision until December, so I am hoping that I can see some actual pictures before crunch time. If not I will probably go with the macadamia to be safe.
