Our 2014 Classic sat outside in mid January 2014 for a week in sub zero temps while they waited for a TV support bracket and a side cushion for the sofa armrest That missing arm rest cushion was made in the Airstream factory about 15' from the finishing line.

The trailer arrived in Phoenix looking like Moby Dick, the white whale as it was covered in road salt.

Just found out that they are 10 to 12 days behind on the Classic trailers. So if you are waiting Like we are. Might as well sit down and take a breath.

Smile 2015 Classic Shower Ops or Oops???

The new Kohler shower head on 2015 Classic does not have any shut off feature other than the mixing valve (poor alternative). It does have the boost to go from 2.0 gpm to 2.5 gpm which feels great. My 05 Classic had a shutoff on the shower head to conserve water & avoid filling Gray Tank. Kohler does not have a Valve apparently to fit in. Anyone got a neat fix besides adding a valve to hose?

Ken, I'm considering a shutoff on the shower head, but I want one in the nickel finish...not found one...yet!

Page and Bob....if all you're getting is a 12 day delay, they are getting better...mine was more than a MONTH later than planned....but I know how anxious you two are!

I found one several years ago at the Menards in Sidney, OH on one of my trips to JC. You might check their online catalog.

if you do find a shut off for the shower head, please share a link as we all are looking for one.

It's obvious I don't post much but I do read a lot. On the shower cut off valve, I have one of these ordered, $9.99 with shipping. Our 2015 was supposed to be offline last week of April, can't wait to start looking for filiform.

I mean, it is going to be finished near the end of October, right?

IIRC, units made after June or July get the following year's tag, much like cars.

We purchased a new 2015 Classic in Florida in January and "the jury is still out..." Several small issues that need to be resolved. We look forward to the follow-up service appointment (in mid-May) to address these issues. If they are resolved we will continue to be vary happy Classic owners (we previously had a 2002 31' Classic), but if they are unable to work out some of these bugs, we will post our specific frustrations for all Forum readers to review and compare. Safe and happy trails to all...

Are you going to the dealer or Jackson Center? The service center WILL resolve your issues. Talk to Chris Burch, Randy McNeely, and Dave Schuman. They WILL take care of you. They will give 110% to make you happy.

2015 Classic - Owners' Thread

It might be helpful for all to be aware of any issues on a new Classic as AS wants this to be their Crown Jewel. Also, for those of us who ordered a 2015 before the Classic was even announced, we may have some of the same issues.

I suppose the one consolation for those who had to "make do" with a Serenity 30RB is that we have about 50% more storage than the Classic.

Michael, it's going to be kind of hard to talk with Dave Schumann. Her retired after 44 years at Airstream.

Voyager Wireless Camera

Trying to make up my mind on doing the Voyager Wireless camera or the iPhone route.

Tried the camera used with the iPhone setup (Sharx). Works fine but the angle of view isn't as wide as the Voyager. On my FC25 with the Voyager mounted below the center running light I could just see the ends of bumper in the bottom corners. Made it really easy backing into a space, like my storage location at the time and not hitting the wall.

So anyone with the Voyager, any issues with reception? No issue with the FC25 and probably won't make a difference for the additional 5 feet. Comments welcome on the Voyager and the iPhone solution.

I had a Voyager in my '12 Intl, and also installed one in my '15 Classic. It works perfectly. I wired the camera to the center clearance light. BTW, the microphone on the camera is VERY sensitive. If you don't turn the volume all the way down you'll hear everything going on behind you. If you have a helper for parking your trailer, and you want to hear them (hmmm), make sure you remember to turn the volume back up.
