Lining cabinets

Since the cabinets are solid wood what are most classic owners lining the cabinets with. we always used the non stick stuff that camping world sells but in our MH the cabinets were line with carpet

our concern is the non stick stuff might adhere to the wood?

any recommendations from other Classic owners

thanks

Earl

Flip it again. It may be stiff because it is new.
Maybe you are seeing the bottom of one step on top of the other?
Why didn't they show you that in a walk through demonstration?

Hi Earl,

When I got my 2004 Classic, the PO told me that the non-slip stuff can damage the wood. Don't know if that's true. There are warnings in the fine print on some of those products, notably the Duck brand and Contact brand versions of the non slip liner.

In my Classic, most of the shelves were lined with ribbed stuff that is most economical when purchased in a 50 ft roll. Here's an example:

Warp Brothers PM-50 Clear Plast-O-Mat Ribbed Flooring Runner Roll, 30-Inch by 50-Foot

Amazon.com: Warp Brothers PM-50 Clear Plast-O-Mat Ribbed Flooring Runner Roll, 30-Inch by 50-Foot: Home Improvement

I wouldn't use it on food safe surfaces, and since it has ribs it may not be right for all applications.

Though I've never actually heard about the popular non-slip stuff discoloring the wood, since my 2004 came with the ribbed stuff, I used it. It works so well, I bought a roll for my new Classic that's due in May.

Very interested in hearing what others use, especially in the refrigerator.

Best of luck, and thanks for asking this question!

Scooter, I ordered the stainless 120V cover from West Marine. It's Model #356436, 15A Outlet Cover, price is a steep $64.99.

Jayseejay: the cover comes with a high quality rubber gasket...I am going to "outline" it with some aluminum colored Parrbond, just to be on the safe side.

Marinco makes good stuff, meant to survive harsh marine (salt) environments. I use their products with my sailboat. You'll be pleased.

Sorry to change the subject, but I have a quick question for currrent 2015 Classic owners. Do both front and rear Air Conditioners share a common duct system or is there a separate duct system for each A/C? My reason for asking is if there is only 1 shared duct system then I can use a more readily available 30 amp outlet in campgrounds and still run the smaller A/C on days when both systems are not needed.

They use the same duct work in my unit, it's shared by both A/C units.
