There are options. The link takes you to the Jack that can be used with the Winegard A/S used to put on all its trailers (the one you crank up and then have to remember to crank down!). The model I purchased is a "standalone" -- no crank up or down....which means you have one less thing to remember when you break camp (always nice!). I think it's a Model 8000. Runs around $135-$150 depending on where you buy it. They also sell an optional baseplate -- plastic with a raised edge that shows you exactly where to put the screws....and a terrific option as it gives you plenty of space for butyl and/or Sikaflex. I might also say that I had one on my '12 Intl CCD, and last year at Alumapalooza I was one of the few who had any stations at all in the JC environment. I also found that it worked in fairly remote areas, so it does do a good job at sucking in marginal channels. There is no comparison in the quality of this antenna and the Winegard that most of us have had on our trailers. The interior directional controller is smaller as well. But the major plus is NO cranking AND better TV reception. I used the stock '15 Classic antenna for a couple of days in my driveway, but the Jack still got a better HD signal.

shower head question for you 2015 Classic Owners. There is a button on the shower head, when you push it nothing happens. In my old classic this button shut off water. I toured my friends new 2015 Classic this past weekend, same issue. The button on shower head does nothing. Is it broke? Or does this button have another purpose? I would look it up in the owners manual but as you know the owners manual has not been released yet for the 2015 Classic.

Firedog1, when I push the button on my shower head, I get a jet blast, about two times the water/pressure. I thought that was different 😊

Hi everyone: I'm a new AS owner (2015 classic). Also new to the forum so excuse my ignorance. We are on our initial voyage with the AS. Enjoying learning about all it's workings...but can't get the water heater to work. The dealer is of no help because nobody there seems to know anything about the water heater. I have turned the gas on and the stove and furnace are working and I moved the bypass valve from "bypass" to "open". There are 2 switches in the bathroom labeled gas and electric. I have done about every combo you can with them and have gotten the water heater to fire up for a few minutes, but then it goes off and still no hot water. Am I missing a step here or does anyone have any expertise with this.
Thanks for the feedback.
Mark

You have a beautiful trailer.
I'm sorry I cannot help you with your problem.
Ordinarily, the switches on the bathroom wall turn the water heater on.
The switch with the lightning bolt turns on water heater on electric. This is for when you are hooked up to shore power.
The switch with the flame turns on the water heater on propane. This is for boondocking or not connected to shore power.
You should actually hear the heater turn on and hear the water heating up and feel the warmth when you get near the cabinet.
How far from the dealer are you?
From your post it seems as if you have everything figured out, but the water heater does not work for one reason or another.
Check breakers and fuses. In my trailer the breaker box is in the right side locker over the bed and the converter is under the couch. Your 2015 has a lot of things in different places relative to my 2013.

Mark, I'm sure you have checked your gas since you have run both your stove top and furnace? You may check to be sure the hot water heater has water in it as well, that may be a safety feature (I'm not sure) I have not had any issues, Mike is correct about the switches, however your breaker box is under your hall wardrobe, just to the front of your unit, you just pull the pannell off, it has the same latches as your cabenets. I have run mine both on gas and shore power, and have not had any issues.

I sure hate to hear of your problems with the water heater. Hopefully it is just a fuse. Nelson, what did you find out about your shower head?

Be sure the fresh water tank and water heater have water in them first; if the water system is pressurized from the pump or city water hookup, lift the pressure relief valve tab in the outside compartment on the water heater, and water should come out (be careful it's not hot).

Then it's full. Turn on the propane water heater switch and you should see a momentary red light, then a click and poof as the gas fires up. The red warning light will remain out. It may take a few tries as air must first be purged from the lines.

If this doesn't work, hook up external power and try the electric part of there heater. Turn the switch on, look for the momentary red light, and wait 10 minutes or so for warm water at the bath faucet.

If no hot water, see the dealer about it.

My unit is at Foley now, that is on the list to be checked. I do not have the answer just yet. I will call next week and see what the factory said.

Nelson,
When I was hanging out in your trailer the other day, I tried the electric recliner. Nothing happened. Is there a magic word, combination, or password, or is it broken?

Nothing special, the inventor has to be on, it was not on when you were there. Sorry
