Can anyone take photos of the bolsters or whatever they are called that are beside the couch in a 30' Classic? I need photos of where the screws mount on the vertical pieces. I do not have existing ones but suffice it to say, they were taken out by someone and are now being replaced. I don't know if they mount to the floor sides or both. I do know A/S has changed the mounting points in different years so I really need photos from a 2012. If anyone can help, please pm me the photos and it would be greatly appreciated.

We have 2012 31' Classic, which is the same size as the 30' and I think the front sofa area is identical as well. Our dinette is just a bit closer. Here are some shots I took tonight (first one is blurry). Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more.

The screws that go into the floor on the long thin piece, are they located in about the same area in both sides?

Mine has carpet so I'm guessing it is screwed into the floor as well. Wires on road side must fit tightly in rear. I don't have notches for them.

Yes. It is a mirror image on the streetside.

I am sure it goes through the carpet and into the floor.

I just removed the carpet and the side frames for the bolster things from my 85 31' Excella. Looks exactly the same. I'll post some photos I just took of the bolster. The bolster itself does not bolt into anything. It fits up against the radius of the wall and has a little bracket that keeps it in place.

Maybe it's not exactly the same. Looks like your frame is screwed into a cabinet. Mine goes to the wall.

This is what my frame looks like. Hope this helps. I don't have a bracket on the wall. Seems very stable. The wood pieces on the bottom of the bolster fit inside the frame.

Do the foam cushion bases just rest on top of the side or does the long wood Piece with the angled piece support the foam cushion in some way?

They just rest right on top. The wood piece on the armrest just stops it from sliding side to side.

Thanks. Thats what I was guessing but the little piece of wood mounted on the side seemed like it provided no support and was lower than the other side. Looks like the arm would be at an angle towards the walls unless the foam keeps it in place.

I have a '97, 25' Safari and they are set up nearly identically to those that I have seen pictures of on this thread. Looks like it must have been a standard way of installing them across many models and years.

Project was completed . Thanks to all for the photos and information. Mine has been totally removed and I was able to find and reuse the original screw holes in the carpeting.
