I use a coin-op car wash that has a truck height bay to do the washing. Then I go back to storage and do my waxing there. Used Turtle Wax Ice last time and it did a great job. Have to get back to the car wash in the next couple of weekends to wash of the road grime from our trip to Nashville.

We have a high end RV storage place near us that has their own coin op RV wash bay that is usually unused on Sundays. One of our AS friends says he talked to the owners and they said "if it's not being used, you can come although it's not really open to the public." So far I haven't gone there, seemed like a kind of lukewarm approval to me.

You would hard pressed to find better car/vehicle care products.
Been using them for 15+rears.

If this is it......no

In my experience.... the more the ease of application is touted the less effective the end result.

I use Griot's One Step Sealer...one Saturday is needed.

Related question; How does everyone go about washing the top of their AS? Is it okay to stand on top of the AS? I'm a very nimble 210lbs.

I did the maiden wash now that the pollen is out but have no real ability to (safely) get on top. Maybe I just need a better / taller ladder. Thought about parking the truck close to it and using that instead.

Getting on the roof

I use one of these All their products are first rate, microfiber products, car wash soap, paint sealer and many more. I've been using them for years, part of my car/vehicle tool kit. You won't be disappointed.

I learned quite a while ago that when it comes to maintaining my Airstream, I just do whatever Bob does. His choices work great for me and I don't have to waste a bunch of time trying to figure out how to do a whole bunch of stuff. Jim

Yeah, I'm learning that too about Bob. I should add that I have one of the new AS's with the ducted AC and a white roof. The more I think about it, the more I should stay off it. Some sort of ladder scaffolding sounds interesting.
