Consider solid cork tile flooring. Easy to cut, light weight, good insulator, flixible, renewable (green) product, and looks great. We had in our Airstream motorhome for about three years and loved it.

Is solid cork a floating floor or is it glued down?

Is it resistant to water spills?

Does it resist expansion/contraction due to extremes in seasonal temperatures. That is the biggest issue with floors in RVs.

The newer Beau Flor roll vinyls are really nice and easy to install. Most everybody who sees ours, thinks that it is laminate or real wood.

Rolled vinyl is neat. Easy to clean and care for, waterproof, and looks great. Almost everyone thinks that the "floating" vinyl "cork" floor in our 2009 28' Ocean Breeze is real cork. Can you post a before pic of your coach?

What are you planning for the remodel? Are you changing the decor or do you like it and just want to make it new? Are you doing the work yourself or hiring someone to do it?

I'm actually looking to match the factory flooring. I just have a small area on the side to patch.

Cork is naturally water resistant. The solid cork tiles are glued down with a water soluable contact cement. Cork does not have a high coefficient of termal expansion. In our 30 ft. Airstream Land Yacht motorhome, there were no visible signs of any expansion due to temperature extremes. We lived in the motorhome over the winter and after two winters, it showed no signs of wear. The manufacturer recomends recoating it with urethane when it needs refinished. We never felt it was needed on our floor. Cork, since it is flexible, takes the normal movement of the floor without a problem. I think it is an ideal floor for an RV.

I would like to know the Airstream actual choices as well. Everybody responding is ignoring the question. Mine is a 2015 with the dark green tabletops, is that what yours has? I've heard them call the wall and cabinet laminate "rice paper" and "Bambo". I'll try to find some Wilsonart chips, maybe it's theirs.

Mine has the silver-grey laminate counters but I think all FCs have the same walls and floors. I'm going to check with the mother ship and will post what I find out.

Everything you need to know for colors
Beauflor is brand of flooring.

Wilsonart is wall laminate. Just ordered some from Lowes.

Awesome! I was not finding the rice paper even in the Wilsonart chips I was searching through. But then again, I have always suspected not all places carry all of them.
