Valve Stem Size Question.

Yes, I have search the forum using the Google option. No, I don't want to change to 15 in. wheels. Now that I have that out of the way here is my questions:

Does anyone know if the valve stem size on the stock 14 inch wheels of a 2015 23FB are .453 or .625 diameter?

Thank You.

It would be the smaller one. The large one is for wheels that were originally used with tube-type tires.

What length valve stems are people using? I purchased the TST Flow-Thru system and they couldn't tell me what length metal valve stem to use. Only advice was to get short ones as the Flow-Thru sensors are 2 inches long. Looking on-line I've found ones 1/2", 3/4" and 1". My concern is the TST sensor is 1.1" at the base. With the angle of the wheel at the hole for the valve stem if I get one that is to short the sensor will not screw on. If I get one that is to long the sensor will stick out to far and could get broken off. FYI, Jackson Center was no help!

I just returned the flow thru sensors for the "cap" sensors. In talking to TST, this is what they recommend. I had the same concern with the flow through sensor sticking out and getting hit by something. Contact Debbie at TST and she will swap them out.

I would like to know what replacement metal stems are best on the 14" FC 23 wheels. I have the 507 non flow through caps.
