Using 2012 20' Flying Cloud Bambi in Summer Heat: Generator for AC and/or Fans?

I'm a new owner of a 2012 Flying Cloub 20' Bambi.

It is very hot where I live and I'm trying to figure out what to do when off the grid.

1) If I'm only going to go ceiling fans how do I do it? Should I have them both open and on the coldest setting going full blast? Or should both be open with only one running to get some sort of circulation.

2) If I was going to get a generator to run the AC what are my options.

I am very new to all of this.

Thank you.

Kind of depends on where you are. If like me, in the southeast, you need the AC in the summer to keep comfortable, so a generator may be the solution.

Now if you don't want to make that investment. Here are a few tips I have learned to keep the inside comfortable with no AC.

Invest in a full awning package so you can shade all sides of the trailer.

Open both fans and set them to exhaust the air.

Open the windows on the shady side of the trailer to draw in the somewhat cooler air on that side.

Get an Endless Breeze fan (use to be made and sold by Fantastic Fans). This is a 12v fan that creates a good breeze. Or buy some of those battery powered fans (D or C cells) that you can move with you.

Lastly, park under a tree when you can.

Good luck,
