Toilet Clearance

We just purchased a 2016 Flying Cloud 27FB and have discovered that the toilet sits too close to the sink. I have to turn to the side to sit on the throne.

Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

I turned mine to face a bit more toward the door.

How did you do turn it? Any words of wisdom?

I don't know what type of toilet mounting flange the new rigs have, but here was how I could move mine.

Unscrew the toilet mounting nuts. Lift up the toilet. Move the mounting bolts to the next slotted holes in flange, if available. If not, remove the screws that hold the flange to the floor. Rotate the flange (it screws onto the tank). If it is too tight to rotate, you may have to make a tool from a 2 x 4 and two lag screws to get enough leverage.

Your rig may differ from mine.

Unscrew the toilet mounting nuts. Lift up the toilet. remove the screws that hold the flange to the floor (8 I think) Rotate the flange (it screws onto the tank). I used the mounting bolts with fender washers and a nut snugged down on the flange. I used a 2' pry bar between the two bolts to slightly tighten the flange (clockwise). You don't need to move it much. Best done with holding tank dumped and rinsed!
