I have what apears to be tar on my floor. After several cleaning attemps it still remains. After further investigation, it appears it's underneath the floor. Has anyone had this problem? I am wondering if it could be the glue used on the floor bleeding through. The only other thing I can think of is my wife did it...NOT.

How about posting a photo of the "spots"... are they are carpet or tile or something else? If it is underneath the floor, you might check to see if you have some kind of very slow tiny water leak that is seeping under the floor or something like that (if vinyl or similar). The reason I say that is I had this kind of tragedy in my kitchen, my new vinyl floor developed weird stains and I blamed my sweet hubby for bringing in goop on his shoes from the garage... I couldn't get them out, tried everything. About a year later the flooring started to kind of bubble.... so we bit the bullet and cut back the flooring to see.... lo and behold a tiny leak in my dishwasher seeped through the layers of the sub floor and eventually up to the vinyl... Yikes.... big floor replacement new flooring, new dishwasher. Your issue may be totally different, but I'd check it all out carefully. Somehow I doubt the glue would bleed through unless it is wet...

This is the wood looking Linoleum flooring. It is definitely not from mold due to moisture. I live in Texas where the inside temperature can get over 100 degrees while in storage. I could see how the glue could liquefy and bleed through due the temperature. I am tempted to cut the floor in order to see if dark mastic was used to hold down the floor. Perhaps under the table. The peculiar thing is that it is in places that a tar spotted shoe wouldn't step. I will get pictures of this to post soon.

I'm having the same problem with my 2012. I'm also experiencing some floor sag in those areas of stain in the galley of my 23' FC/FB, separately, I've experienced sag in the floor with no stains in the rear bathroom right in front of the dumper.. I live in eastern Washington, an arid desert, so moisture isn't normally an issue (I've also woken up to 84* mornings due to my "free electric" ceramic heaters).

I've made a claim with corporate and the dealer is in complete agreement about repair. I've wanted an Airstream since my teens and in my thirties I couldn't be happier.... Dreams really do come true...
