Tail Light Assembly

Several LED tail light bulbs are out on my 2014 FC25FB. I suspect loose connections from rough gravel roads. The tail light assembly has four screws, two on each side, and some gray sealant between the assembly and the trailer body. No gasket is visible. The assembly does not come off when I remove the screws. The sealant seems to be holding it on. If I cut the sealant will the assembly pop off?

Thanks

I can tell you the clearance lights and side marker I removed needed to have the sealant cut to remove them so I assume the tail lights are similar. Careful not to scratch what you can't cover up with sealant later.

Thumbs up

I've used a length of heavy,(25lb), mono fishing line to cut a sealant bond.

I thought I saw where someone else was replacing the LEDs in the taillight and they said they didn't remove the light assembly, just the ring around the LED itself, that it just snapped in. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f447...ml#post1670375

The attached image isn't visible, however.

There was an update from the person who originally posted his experience. He bought the LEDs from his local AS dealership who ordered them from Airstream in Jackson Center. You can see the additional post in the same thread
