Sold the Airstream

This is a great forum for all things airstream. Saturday we sold our 2012 Flying Cloud 19. Primarily because we don't have the time to use it and secondly the corner bed is too small when you are 6-4. So we are going to take a break and then start looking for a 23 or 25 ft airstream in the fall.

Thanks for all advice for figuring out the trailer systems.

After owning three Airstreams - 25FB and 27FB are my two favorite sizes, but as of 2015 30 Footers, that is now my favorite.

My 30 footer did not have the recliners on either end of the couch or the ducted A/C - those are Awesome upgrades!

We love the front bedroom 27 foot floor plan. Lot's of room, best view usually out the back, easy to get in and out of the bed (I'm 6'3") and plenty of storage (I know, whoever said they had enough storage!)

I still think the Classic 30 is the best floor plan ever.
If they still made the 34 I might change my mind.

If I could afford a new one, I would go for a 28' or I guess a 30' I appreciate the classic more now. Of course any of you that would like, can bequeath yours to me! I am not a blood relative but I would promise to take care of it.

Smokeless Joe, your setup is REALLY nice. I am sure someone will come along and buy it. You did such a neat job on the interior AND exterior.

I was pretty lucky it was posted on here and craigslist , sold within 2 weeks. THe 19 seems to be a popular first airstream for a lot of folks. Now if they made a FC20 instead of a sport
