Purchase new 2015 FC 25'..best price?

Hey wonderful folks..I am thinking of getting a new FC 25' twin as I am a newbie and like the thought of 2 year warranty. Wondering what folks are paying for the new one? Does anyone have experience with the Oregon dealers, Sutton RV in Eugene and Airstream Adventures Northwest in Portland?

This time of the year, you should be able to get 15-20% off the list price. More expensive units (i.e., Eddie Bauer, Internationals & Classics and 25 foot and longer) will be closer to 20% with less expensive units (Flying Clouds & Sports under 25 feet) closer to 15%.

Airstream is offering rebates on 2014 models now.

I've done all my business with Adventures NW. Great people to work with! Talk to Jill Brady, I'm sure they'll be ready to deal.

A couple of months ago, we took delivery of a 2015 Flying Cloud 25FB Twin. We got 12% off MSRP. We were quoted that price by Colonial in New Jersey. Dixie in Florida matched their price, so we bought close to home.

Keep in mind that even though you may get a great deal on a new 2014, it will not have the ducted air conditioning.

I'd wait another year when the 2015s are on closeout to get the ducted air. For smaller floor plans I'd buy a 2014 because they don't have ducted air even on 2015s.

I agree.... for 25' and above, wait till around June/July when 16' models come out; find a couple dealers with a 15' model you want, and see who will give you best deal....below 25', a 2014 model you can get great deals now...

I live in Denver and have bought two trailers from Airstream Adventures NW. 2012 25' FB out of Portland and a new 2015 30' Bunk I am picking up next month out of Boise. 20% off is a good number. I would not get a new Airstream without the ducted air, period. It is one of the driving reasons we went to the 2015. Had it not been for the ducted air we would have stayed with the 2012. Though our 14 year old is going to like his own room! I always work with Katie Rossiter in the Portland location, as I think she is one of the managers.

We bought a 25' International this time last year at Sutton's in Eugene. The price was as described in the other posts--very fair deal. Our experience with the dealership and all personnel was outstanding. We were new at RVing and new to Airstream--they really helped us out. Had one minor warranty issue which they took care of with no hassle, no issues, no pain. Would recommend. They have a good service facility and great techs

I been quoted a price for 2015 25' Flying Cloud at 18% under MRSP...seems reasonable...?

Dealers in Oregon

In our opinion, it is MOST important to ask directly for the sales person at the dealership with the most experience with Airstreams. We purchased in Oregon. We have heard from people who purchased at both dealerships. We purchased at Sutton primarily because it takes 10-minutes to drive to their service department from our driveway, and they have a great reputation in our community.

If we had known what we know now, we probably would take an experienced AS owner with us to purchase. Also, it is VERY important to inspect your brand new trailer, even to crawl under it to see what might be damage from the trip from Ohio. Just a heads-up.

The 2-year warranty is very real and such a security blanket. Also, one can call the AS Factory, directly, and ask any questions you might have. They are exceptionally helpful. Dave

We have voted with our checkbook twice at AS adventures NW in Seattle (Covington) ... had to drive hundreds of miles from Montana and still found the best deals there ...And, I attended OSU !

The Portland dealer has already offered me almost 20% off MSRP. Will I do better than that if I wait for the 2016's to come out and then get my 2015? So new to all of this. You all are a fantastic resource. Hope to meet you on the road!

That is a great deal - even with winter here, you won't do a lot better. The 2016s will not be out until mid-summer ... buy now, enjoy now! You are on the right path to get a 2015 (or later) 25' or longer WITH ducted air. It makes a HUGE difference.
