Paper Towel Holder for 23D

I have extensively searched and am still looking for a good paper towel holder. The FC 23D has limited counter space and we are open to suggestions.

I use a bungy cord. Run it thru the roll and hook to the aft area of the stove vent. Works fine and no expensive designer kitchen tool needed.

I do the same; it is one of the great suggestions from this forum.

That link was not good. Just search on Amazon for (InterDesign Orbinni Paper Towel Holder for Kitchen - Wall Mount/Under Cabinet, Chrome). About $15.

I have a strong, stainless steel, magnetic one that is mounted on the heat shield over the stove.

It rests well away from any flame, and is off the counter. Got it off Amazon, I believe.

If one really tried, and let the paper towels unroll to where they lay on or near the burners, you could light the paper towels on fire, but mine has been up 3-4 years without there ever being a problem.

We just have a "moveable" paper towel holder. It has a round base, the diameter of a role of paper towel, with a dowel going up from the base. The role goes vertically over the dowel. There's a small dowel on the outer side of the base so that the paper doesn't flop over. We keep it on the counter of the galley when cooking and doing dishes, and move it over to the dining table for napkin style use. Check out Greenco Counter Top Bamboo Paper Towel Holder on Amazon. Works great for us.

This is what I have, and have loved it..

It holds very securely, and I buy pretty paper towels to put in it.

We also use a color coordinated bungy cord in our 23D. I don't think there's enough under cabinet space to mount one and not enough counter space for a freestanding.

Here's AWCHIEF's picture at post #2: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f516/paper-towel-holder-140723.html

Yes.

I buy the big roll, white ones for at home, but in the Interstate they are in view, and I want them to be pretty.

Putting things away when I arrived at a recent rally, I found myself with 16 rolls of paper towels I had to find a place for.

Had found them on sale...twice, apparently...and now have enough for the rest of the season.

We use the free standing style holder. It packs away in the sink while traveling and often lives on the dinette table when in use. We have been reluctant to drill holes in the coach and that was the driver for this alternative.

Like the concept of the bungy cord. Not sure it adds to the ambiance of a glam ride, but it's certainly functional and easy to implement.

Have always been surprised that most RVs, boats, and other fun toys don't come with a paper towel holder. It is a personal kind of thing, but designers ought to provide for that type of feature. You always see a toilet paper holder somewhere. Guess paper towels have not been around long enough to get proper design respect.

Travel safe. Pat
