New 2011 Flying Cloud

Let me try this again,,,
Hello folks, I'm new to your forum. I just wanted to say I just traded in my 04 22' International CCD for a 11 25' Flying Cloud. I had the International since it was new and enjoyed it very much. I traded it in for the Flying Cloud because it had everything that I wished the International had. I must say, I'm very impressed with it including the improved craftsmanship from 04. I frequent this forum from time to time and hope to learn some tips and maybe give some as well.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

We have an '05 25FB that we have towed almost 60,000 miles, and have spent over 650 nights in. It's a great floor plan.

Welcome and congrats on your new 25' FB Flying Cloud! We have a 2007 FB Safari SE and love the floor plan. We haven't spent as many nights camping as moosetags (we hope to some day) but every night we have has been spent smiling and being secure in our decision to purchase 'Tex'. I'll second the request for pictures

Happy Camping!

Makes yours old and we are now going on very old with our 2005. But based on what we have learned here on this A/S forum. We will have ours for many=many more years. Just hope that we last as long as our A/S.

Thanks for the welcome. Our International CCD had the retro design in which we like but we out grew the space. It had a desk in which I thought was wasted space and crawling over each other to get out of bed got old. We considered the 25’ CCD but the price was a bit more than I cared to pay. After looking at the FC with the FB, it made more sense to go this route. Among the features I like are the external storage and shower, two panoramic windows, separate shower and bathroom, walk around bed in an isolated sleeping area and more seating and storage. Don’t get me wrong I like my International very much but I couldn’t pass the FC’s features up. The only thing I don’t like about the FC is the A/C. I feel that it is underrated for this size of trailer. It takes hours to get a comfortable temperature during a hot Texas summer.

My INternational has an outside shower, panoramics front and rear, external storage,,....all that you stated above.

I believe the A/C is the same,,..and yes underrated.

Well for Texas anyway.

Your right, please don't rub it in. We will miss the CCD style but will enjoy our new FB.

Welcome

I am also new to the forum, just purchased a 2010 FB Flying Cloud Midnight Sun in March. Really having fun with the family. Enjoy my TV too, its a Tundra 5.7 liter truck. What TV are you using? I notice that the trailer rides better if I tow with a full tank of fresh water,

We love our 09 27FB Flying Cloud. Lots of seating, and big windows. I suppose I should be flattered she wants a single queen bed, but I miss the extra floor space of the twin beds. A/C has to be on high fan to keep up, for sure. Welcome to the Forums!

Chu you have a fine looking AS there. I'm glad you had a good experience at Colonial. I've heard good things about them.

I have a 07 Tundra 4x4. With a towing capacity of 10500, I have no problem towing the FC. I will try the full tank if I can ever get out, the grandkid is over for the weekend. I will get pics soon....

2010 27FB Flying Cloud here, we picked it up last month. We're only at 1% of "moosetags days" as yet, it might take a long, long time to catch up!
